As we approach 5th May 2016 it is not only the Local Council Elections that are being contested, but, also The West Midlands police and Crime Commissioner Elections.
Many complain about various issues, however, the real way to be heard is through the Ballot Box. However, in order to cast your vote you must be registered and the deadline for inclusion in these elections is 18th April 2016.
It is very simple to register to vote as this can be done online and you just need to have your National insurance Number to hand and its all done within 3 minutes.
If you have not got a PC then you can register using a form or visit your local library for internet access.
Do remember off course if you have a smartphone with internet you can also use that to register.
Your vote is your voice and you must be in a prepared position to use it, unfortunately if your not registered then others will make a decision for you.
It is now more important than ever especially with the forthcoming referendum on EU Membership.
Don't let others speak for you, its your vote your voice, make sure your registered before 18th April in order that your voice is heard.
