Saturday 2nd March saw another Voter Registration Clinic at Cannon Street Memorial Baptist.
Initially thanks to Pastor Bryan Scott and his team for facilitating this important event .
Bryan sees the importance of the role the Church and indeed the Houses of Faith has to play in engaging the Community in the Political Process with Registering to Vote and taking part in Civic Duties.
We carried out some more registrations and others attended to offer their support and encouragement of a much needed campaign.
Thanks to Birmingham Community Safety Partnership Sgt Paul Street and the Rest of the Team, for giving up their Saturday to support the Community engagement side of the campaign.
Finally it was encouraging that Councillors, Spence, Hamilton, Quinnen and Hussain attended lending their support to the Campaign.
All of them expressed the importance this type of outreach for the disaafected people of this City.
The work continues. If you want to volunteer email me [email protected]
