I found many of the Leader's sought in my view to focus on the party faithful as opposed to inspiring the disaffected and floating voters and many concluded that they were basically all the same with the exception of Nigel Farage the UKIP Leader which blamed everything on Immigration and the EU.
I was very typical where attempts were made to attack each other, instead of focusing on the needs of the people and how to ensure they encourage greater participation in the electoral process, as much of the feedback, that I have had, is a simple case that some are saying they will spoil their ballot paper in protest and some will not even bother to go to the polling station.
This is interesting as the Party Leader's are not directly elected by the UK as a whole, but, the first hurdle they face is to be elected by their own constituents.
Hence, I would suggest that we focus our attentions on those standing for election in our own constituencies and ask them those all important questions about the issues that affects your daily lives and see if you are able to establish that all important connection, as ultimately that person may well be representing you come May 8th.
To be honest I was personally disappointed, however, I am focusing my attentions locally and suggest that you do the same.

Inspirational Politics and dealing with disaffection is about connecting with the electorate and not about attacking or belittling each other, however, remember we must focus on electing our Local MP as that is where the real power that you have lay.
