Whilst out yesterday, many residents were surprised to see me not only handing out my own leaflets, but, also the interest that I have in them, their families and also Newtown. One resident said " the area is dirty and not good for our children and it is good to see that you are prepared to work".
This was a common trend for the whole day.
In Great Hampton Row a group of young men asked " how are t=you going to help us, are you going to swamp the area with Police and move us on?" He was shocked when I told him that I would be prepared to work with them in order to assist in the creation of greater opportunities for them to move on with their lives and not become statistics.
Clearly, after years of neglect by Councillors who have failed to do their job, it is clear that Newtown is seeking a fresh start and this can commence on May 3rd with you voting for the only choice for progress "Desmond Jaddoo" who is here for "everyone and not the chosen few".
