A common issue that is in the increase is anti-social behaviour. I have received many reports of people congregating in the communal areas of multi-storey block and the stair wells.
Also the communal areas of the low rise blocks where they are smoking, drinking and also performing sexual acts.
Clearly, this is unacceptable and has been going on now for a number of years unchallenged apparently, according to some residents.
The whole matter of security and access to flats will have to be reviewed and improvements where necessary made.
Furthermore, we need to set up residents group which we are in the process of doing now, which will bring a more cohesive approach in tackling this ever increasing issue, that needs tacking head on.
