There's a time to talk and a time to act.
Many say that talk is cheap as at times it costs nothing, however, in my view it can be very expensive especially if it is not followed up by some constructive action.
It is clear that we are at a pivotal point socially and economically, therefore, it is important to now hold our those in power locally and nationally to account.
Talk without any form of action is seen as hollow and weak by many, however, acting upon it does maintain the issue your are concerned about on the agenda.
The Voice Newspaper this week published an article asking whether we will see a black MP in the West Midlands.
However, if we are not engaging whilst those who are members of Political Parties remain silent and not use the system as others do then we may not see this happen for a number of years to come.
It's time to start thinking outside of the box meaning breaking with tradition and finding your own way, that you can relate too, as self identification is highly relevant.
The simple fact is there are ways we can make changes, however, we must be prepared to give up some time in order to participate in civic duty, should you have a true commitment to leveling the playing field of life.
2020 is not far away, what are you prepared to do?
