These are the words of Kingsley Burrell played in the Coroners Court this morning from a visit which was taped by his sister.
The day commenced with the reading of a statement from his ex- girlfriend.
Then came the playing of the whole tape in full to the Jury, where Kingsley described the incident at the shop in Icknield Port Road in addition to describing how he was left on the floor for 23 hours waiting or a Doctor to see him.
He further went on to mention his treatment whilst he was restrained for some 6 hours and when asking for water and the hand cuffs to be loosened,
The conversation was a very amicable and engaging with his sister Kadisha.
He placed some context on the observations from the Doctor last week, when they claimed, that during the assessment, Kingsley was a times unresponsive, mumbling and agitated.
The recording spoke volumes in my view "You can't calm down when in so much pain".
The Jury were able to see the ambulance as well, in order that the evidence they heard regarding Kingsley's initial detention and transportation could be made more relevant.
The hearing was adjourned until tomorrow morning
