It has been very busy for the past three weeks and it going to be an even busier next few months.
The key issue that seems to be rearing it’s ugly head is injustice, from all walks of life.
People being judged by the colour of their skin, their wealth, gender, sexuality and ability. Why do we not consider helping them instead of condemning them.
I heard many people say in the past that you cannot believe what you read in the paper’s or indeed what you see on television.
However the past few weeks have demonstrated this, with cleverly edited programmes and press stories geared towards building hype rather than telling it how it really is.
Then again we seem to be a society that prefers this; based on the ever popular social media comments from people of all walks of life.
I always wondered when one stands face to face with the people they are aiming their comments at, would they really repeat their comments.
The key thing that has annoyed me the most is that some really hurtful and threatening comments have been made towards fellow human beings, not so fortunate than others in some cases.
Is this really right? After all has their life been truly portrayed or just adjusted to provide entertainment, on the other hand one may argue that it is thought provoking in order to stimulate the debate.
Whatever the case, I believe we live in a society that appears to be promoting more division than unity, which is really against my philosophy of ‘One Community’.
The strong are suppose to be there to protect and argue for the week, but apparently, I’ve got this wrong as it appears to be the case that the strong are there to persecute and oppress the weak.
Well let me leave you with this, the weak may only appear to be weak, however, once they realise their strength, they can be the change that no-one expects.
