It was an honour to be invited and speak at The Shri Guru Ravidass Bhawan, today to share in the celebrations of the 637th Birthday of Shri Guru ravidass Ji.
Congratulations for General Secretary Raj Rattu and the management team for organising the event and opening up celebrations to the wider community.
It was an opportunity for me to offer my support to continue working in partnership with the association in their fight against caste discrimination, in addition to continue the fight to ensure the law against it that was past last year is implemented.
I reminded the congregation that we are one community and we will work together to create a more level and fairer playing field for our children.
I see this as the commencement on a road to unity and the development of 'one community.'
